The new award-winning 2018 Ford F-150 has an available Trailer Reverse Guidance that will come in handy for Woodland area customers. This will help properly line up your trailer and truck while in reverse. This video above we'll explain how to use it. Follow the directions below and you'll be using this system like a pro!
- Once you put in the correct measurements and placed the sticker on the trailer hitch, shift into reverse and press the camera button.
- Press the trailer icon and select the trailer you want.
- On your touchscreen, the camera view will show where you're moving the trailer in auto mode.
- Make sure you pay attention to the lines. Black indicates where your trailer is, white is a prediction of where your trailer will go, yellow is warning that you are in a potential jackknife situation, and red signifies that you need to stop or pull forward.
- When using the straight backup mode, there will be a helpful steering wheel that will appear to indicate which way you should turn your trailer to keep it straight.
This system also provides multiple camera angles which you can select to help guide you to your parking spot. If you have any questions about this system, please contact Hoblit Motors Ford at (888) 224-0093.Â
